2024 ISA World Para Surfing Championship – November 3 – 9, 2024
The 2024 ISA World Para Surfing Championship gathers the world's best Para Surfing athletes in Huntington Beach for the second year in a row. Over 180 athletes will be representing 27 national teams to compete for the coveted Team Gold medals in various assist and non-assist surf divisions.
California Wine Festival in Huntington Beach – November 8 – 9, 2024
The California Wine Festival will be held at Huntington Beach’s Paséa Hotel & Spa, during which California's best wineries will be pouring hundreds of vintage red and white wines. Complemented by dozens of the region’s top chefs serving gourmet appetizers, wine enthusiasts can enjoy the quintessential wine tasting experience with live music and an ocean view.
The 62nd Annual Huntington Harbour Cruise of Lights® – December 18 – 23, 2024
This December, the waterways of Huntington Harbour will dazzle locals and visitors with thousands of lights and animated displays on over 500 brightly decorated homes, docks, decks, and boats during the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Cruise of Lights®. Reservations are required for this 50-minute narrated boat tour.
Surf City Splash – January 1, 2025
Visitors are invited to celebrate the New Year with the 24th Annual Surf City Splash, during which they can dip into the chilly Pacific Ocean alongside hundreds of locals. This event benefits the North Orange County Surfrider Foundation which helps protect our oceans and beaches.
Surf City Marathon – February 2, 2025
The Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach is a runner's dream and features a beach mile, 5K, half marathon and marathon. The oceanfront course takes runners through the best of Huntington Beach. From Pacific Coast Highway to Central Park, the mostly flat course is perfect for new marathoners and is even used by some as a qualifier for other marathons.
2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship – May 2 - 4, 2025
The NCAA’s Beach Volleyball Championship will take place on the sand at Huntington City Beach in 2025 and 2026, during which spectators will witness history as collegiate teams battle for the championship title with the pier as their backdrop.
