Huntington City Beach

Rundown: Huntington City Beach is where the action is, from beach concessionaires and concerts, to volleyball tournaments and surf contests. Not to mention the majestic Huntington Beach Pier. Where the city meets the surf, this 3.5-mile stretch of beach serves as Downtown’s pristine backdrop.

Amenities: Here you'll find public restrooms, outdoor showers, wheelchair accessibility, Visitor Information Kiosk (say hello to Kevin!), beach volleyball, surfboard and bicycle rentals, RV camping October-May, paved beach path, and 100 fire rings available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fire rings begin in front of Pacific City (between First and Huntington streets) and dot the sand to the south. Pro tip: Arrive early to claim one during peak season.
