The US Open of Surfing is made up of two competition divisions: the second stop of the World Surf League (WSL) Longboard Tour and the fourth stop on the WSL Challenger Series. This year's festivities will include world-class surfing, live music at the WSL Beach Bar stage, and much more. Head down to the beach to enjoy food and drink and product demos featuring prizes and games from your favorite action sport industry brands. Featured activities will movie screenings, iHeart DJs, and signings from your favorite athletes.

About US Open of Surfing
The US Open of Surfing is the world's largest surf competition. This event has been hosted in Huntington Beach every year since 1959, largely because of the location's consistent waves and wide-open beaches. In 1964, it became known as the United States Surfing Championships and in 1982 was called OP Pro for its sponsor, Ocean Pacific. Since 1994, the event has been named the US Open of Surfing. The event attracts the top athletes from around the globe in surfing.

Parking & Transportation

What to Know Before You Go
Anticipate little to no shade if you plan to watch the event from the sand - beach umbrellas are permitted. We also recommend bringing hats, sunscreen, reusable water bottles, and jackets. There will be no dogs, smoking, or drones allowed at the event site.
