Parking

Huntington Beach enjoys the widest, open sand beaches of any Southern California beach - but it also boasts over 5,000 beach parking spaces, not including parking at various garages and meters in Downtown Huntington Beach.

Driving along Pacific Coast Highway, you'll find a plethora of beach parking on the ocean side of the street in parking lots from Brookhurst Street in the south up to Warner Avenue in the north. These lots offer convenient access to the sand for your beach blankets, chairs, umbrellas, grills, firewood and s'mores ingredients.

Entrances to the beach parking lots can be found at Beach Boulevard, Magnolia Street, Brookhurst Street and one mile south of Warner Avenue. In the peak season, entrances can also be found at Huntington Street and First Street. For current parking rates, click HERE. However, please note this rate may change during special events, holidays and the off-peak season. Once inside the parking lot, cars may not leave and re-enter without paying the full parking fee.

Parking meters can also be found along Pacific Coast Highway and throughout Downtown Huntington Beach. Some parking meters in Downtown Huntington Beach accept credit cards, but many are coin-only. Two change machines are located in Downtown Huntington Beach at 200 Main Street, next to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and at 200 5th Street, in front of the police substation. For pricing visit the City of Huntington Beach's website

The two parking lots on either side of the Huntington Beach Pier are hourly parking lots in the off-peak season and may become day-parking lots in the summer season. Be sure to heed the signs at the parking lot pay stations when parking in these lots.

There are four multi-level parking garages located in Downtown Huntington Beach. Parking rates vary by location and time of year.

*Please note: Prices are subject to change. For up-to-date information please visit the City of Huntington Beach website.
