Surf Shops in Huntington Beach

Located at the end of Main Street, Rockin' Fig Surf Headquarters is another Huntington Beach local favorite. The shop features a large selection of surfboards for all kinds of riders and styles. Established back in 1954, Katin Surf Shop is a staple in the surf community. As the first brand in California to make surf trunks, Katin was founded with custom boat shorts made from the same canvas fabric originally used for boat covers. Today, the surf shops remain a popular destination along Pacific Coast Highway to shop for surf gear, clothing, flannels, and of course surfboards. 

The iconic phrase "toes on the nose" was first coined by Surfer Magazine founder John Severson in 1961. Nearly 30 years later, the Toes on the Nose brand was founded by Tom Noble and Doug Bunting. One of their flagship stores can be found in the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa featuring their collection of clothing, along with surf lessons and bike rentals.
