One hour away from Huntington Beach, FIFA’s USA opening match against Paraguay will play at SoFi Stadium.
FIFA World Cup Viewing Parties at Huntington Beach House – June 11-July 19, 2026
The Huntington Beach House will be hosting a FIFA World Cup viewing party overlooking the ocean on the sand. This beach party hotspot with daytime dining, drinks and live DJ’s will add a large LED wall to their outdoor area to screen the matches.
Soccer Fest 2026 at Old World Huntington Beach – June 11-July 19, 2026
The Biergarten in Old World Huntington Beach is hosting Soccer Fest 2026, a free, six-week soccer watch party series where The Biergarten, Festival Hall, Restaurant, and Bar, transforms into a FIFA World Cup hub with jumbo LED screens and multiple televisions throughout.
Independence Day Events – July 3-5, 2026
Independence Day in Huntington Beach is stacked with events and entertainment. On July 4, the day begins with the Surf City 5k before the annual 122nd 4th of July parade moves through the streets of downtown. The day ends with a spectacular firework show over the ocean. The iconic Huntington Beach Pier area will transform into a playground of fun, featuring a Ferris wheel and carnival games, returning after years of absence.
A Walk on Water Surf Therapy – July 18, 2026
This free event provides surf therapy for individuals with special needs. Harnessing the community’s passionate volunteers and watermen, A Walk on Water showcases the best of surf culture where athletes with disabilities can feel the thrill of being in the water while their families are fully supported and cared for.
U.S. Open of Surfing – July 25-August 2, 2026
Since 1959, the US Open of Surfing has held their annual tournament in Huntington Beach. This unforgettable event is free to the public and includes world-class surfing, shows, live music, food and drink, games and prizes for nine days on the sand.
Life Rolls On: They Will Surf Again – August 22, 2026
Life Rolls On is an adaptive surfing event that empowers individuals with mobility challenges to ride the waves with the help of volunteers and surf coaches. Created by Jesse Billauer, a former professional surfer and spinal cord injury survivor, the event is a moving tribute to resilience, inclusion, and community support. Registration opens July 8, 2026.
Huntington Beach Pier Swim – August 29, 2026
The race is on! Anyone can register to participate in this half-mile, open ocean swimming race around the Huntington Beach Pier.
SoCal Wodapalooza – September 25-27, 2026
Gymreapers Wodapalooza SoCal is a three-day fitness festival located on the north side of the Huntington Beach Pier. Impressive athletes of all abilities register to compete against each other in fierce fitness challenges. Spectators and participants can expect music, vendors, and an electric celebration right on the sand.
Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach – October 2-4, 2026
Celebrating 10 years of full throttle, the largest air show in the United States by attendance returns to the sands of Huntington Beach for three days of heart-pumping aerobatic demonstrations by the world’s finest display teams, on-sand entertainment, signing sessions with favorite Airshow performers, beach bars, music and more. Presale tickets with discounts of up to $50 can be purchased beginning March 24 at 9:00 a.m. PT within a 48-hour time window.
A Great Day in the Stoke – October 10, 2026
A Great Day in the Stoke is returning for a fifth consecutive year for Black surfers to connect, compete, recognize, and award community leaders. The first A Great Day in the Stoke was held in Huntington Beach in June 2022 and was the largest gathering of Black surfers in history. The event also offers opportunities to provide surf lessons, additional wellness experiences, and capture an iconic photo similar to ones taken at A Great Day in Harlem (1958) and A Great Day in Hip-Hop (1998).
Punk Rock Masters – October 16-18, 2026
The Punk Rock Masters mixes a pro-rock climbing competition with a music festival for a dynamic, high-energy weekend. Held at the Huntington Beach Pier, this is a free event with a $50,000 cash purse for winners. Attendees can expect live bands, climbing clinics, ice baths, slacklining, yoga, and more.
SoCal Corgi Beach Day – October 24, 2026
Huntington Beach welcomes thousands of Corgis, their owners, and pet-lovers to a free, family-friendly Corgi celebration on the sand. Hosted by SoCal Corgi Nation, a group of Corgi enthusiasts and their low riding canine friends, the event first began in the fall of 2012 with just 15 dog attendees. There are Corgi costume contests, Corgi races, shopping, photo opportunities, and more.
Darker Waves Music Festival – November 14, 2026
This one-day, SoCal-based music festival is held on the beach and specializes in 80s, 90s, new wave, post-punk and goth rock lineups. This year’s headliners are Morrissey and The Smashing Pumpkins.
