Old World Village hosts an iconic Oktoberfest celebration with authentic German food like bratwurst and beers, games, decor, live entertainment and more at their Biergarten, German Restaurant, and German Deli.
A Great Day in the Stoke – October 10, 2026
A Great Day in the Stoke returns for its fifth consecutive year, bringing Black surfers together for a full day of competition, wellness, activities and culture. Founded to create a welcoming space for Black surfers to connect, the inaugural event in Huntington Beach in June 2022 made history as the largest gathering of Black surfers ever recorded. Free to attend, guests can expect beach yoga, surf lessons, a surfing competition, a 5K beach run, Double Dutch jump rope lessons and a Double Dutch competition.
Beach, Brews & BBQ – October 17, 2026
Guests can enjoy bottomless beer tastings, unlimited BBQ tastings, all-you-can-eat food bites, live music and access to both silent and live auctions during this flavorful fundraiser benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event brings more than 25 of SoCal’s top craft breweries, award-winning pitmasters and restauranteurs together for a great cause.
California Wine Festival – October 16-17, 2026
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the Paséa Hotel & Spa, the California Wine Festival invites wine lovers to enjoy hundreds of California wines, regional craft beverages, gourmet food samples and live music. Now, in its 23rd year, the festival showcases nearly 250 wines from over 70 wineries, plus 30 fine dining restaurants, gourmet food companies and lifestyle exhibitors.
Punk Rock Masters – October 16-18, 2026
The Punk Rock Masters mixes a professional rock climbing competition with a music festival for a dynamic, high-energy weekend. Held at the Huntington Beach Pier, this free event will feature live bands, climbing clinics, ice baths, slacklining, yoga, and more.
SoCal Fall Corgi Beach Day – October 24, 2026
Huntington Beach welcomes thousands of Corgis, their owners, and pet-lovers to a free, family-friendly Corgi celebration. Hosted by SoCal Corgi Nation, a group of Corgi enthusiasts and their low-riding canine friends, the event first began in the fall of 2012 with just 15 dog attendees. This fall, Corgis and their humans can enjoy a Howl-O-Ween Corgi Beach Party with costumes, pumpkins, spooky photo opportunities, and plenty of tricks, treats and zoomies on the sand.
Darker Waves Music Festival – November 14, 2026
This one-day, SoCal-based music festival on the beach specializes in 80s, 90s, new wave, post-punk and goth rock lineups. This year’s headliners are Morrissey and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Light a Light of Love – December 6, 2026
Families can gather on Main Street to enjoy a children’s holiday parade, entertainment at the Pier, and a snowflake lighting ceremony benefitting the Huntington Beach Youth Shelter.
Surf City Splash – January 1, 2026
Kick off the New Year with a dash into the Pacific at the Surf City Splash, Huntington Beach’s spirited annual tradition by the Pier. Locals and visitors plunge into the ocean to welcome the year with community energy, coastal views, and plenty of SoCal sunshine.
Surf City Marathon – February 7, 2027
For nearly 30 years, the Surf City Marathon has brought thousands of runners to Huntington Beach for a fast, scenic coastal course lined with ocean views, cheering crowds, and iconic Pier backdrops along the famous Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Participants can enjoy one of the best courses in the U.S. and qualify for the Boston Marathon by running the full marathon course. A half marathon and 5K run are also available.
Super Bowl LXI – February 14, 2027
Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium will host the 2027 Super Bowl, the annual NFL championship game and one of the most-watched American sports events with iconic musical halftime performances.
