The Surf City USA® Bike Valet program is a FREE bike valet service located at The Strand, located south of Walnut Avenue on 5th Street. Valet attendants will check in bicycles, issue claim stubs, and securely store bikes.

Surf City USA® Bike Valet will be running on Tuesday evenings, weekends (Saturdays & Sundays), and holidays from June 21, 2025 though September 1, 2025. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Skip the event traffic and roll up to the Pacific Airshow the easy way!

This FREE and secure Bike Valet will return October 3-5, 2025 for Pacific Airshow weekend:

  • Friday, October 3 - hours of operation coming soon
  • Saturday, October 4 - hours of operation coming soon
  • Sunday, October 5 - hours of operation coming soon

Space will be limited and will be first come, first served, so plan to park early. Park your bike, then shop, dine, and enjoy!

1. What do I do if my bike is left at Bike Valet after closing? 

If a bike is left after closing at the Surf City USA® Bike Valet, it will be securely stored and available for pick-up on the next day of operation during regular valet hours. Bikes will be held for a maximum of seven (7) days before being turned over to the Huntington Beach Police Department. For questions about stored bikes, please contact Irvin Avalos at LAZ Parking.

2. What do I do if I lose my valet ticket?

If a bike owner has lost or misplaced their valet claim ticket, they must personally return to the Surf City USA® Bike Valet with a valid photo ID to retrieve their bike. For security purposes, bikes will not be released to third parties - only the individual who can provide proof of ownership and identity will be allowed to claim the bike. 

3. Can I lock my bike inside the Bike Valet?

Bike owners may NOT lock their bikes inside the Bike Valet area or to the valet fencing.

Each ticket licenses the holder to park one bike in the Surf City USA® Bike Valet area, PARK AS DIRECTED. The management hereby declares itself not responsible for fire, theft, damage, or loss of bike or any article left with bike, all such risk must be assumed by the licensee. Only a rental space license is granted hereby and no bailment is intended or granted. EACH LICENSE SHALL END AT MIDNIGHT OF THE DAY UPON WHICH THE LICENSE IS ISSUED. 

The Surf City USA® Bike Valet program is presented by Visit Huntington Beach, the City of Huntington Beach, the Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District, LAZ Parking, and The Strand.
