Day 1- Check in, then check out.
After checking in to one of four TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awarded resorts, drop the bags and head out to the wide open beach. Enjoy life like a local by relaxing on the sand, feel the ocean breeze and reconnect with living in the moment. Today is all about slowing life down and hitting restart.
Dinner at Sushi on Fire
Where sushi lover’s hearts ignite…Sushi On Fire is fire. Expect artful presentations of innovative culinary treats and plenty of options. With 70 specialty rolls in addition to traditional cut rolls, hand rolls and 2-piece small tastes, there is something for everyone. After dinner take a short walk out to the Huntington Beach Pier to end the night under the stars.
Day 2- Discover the Zen
Breakfast at Banzai Bowls
Have a light and healthy breakfast at Banzai Bowls, a local’s favorite and one of Southern California’s original acai bowl and smoothie joints. Kick up your breakfast or snack game with endless combinations of fruits, greens and delicious toppings. It’s only a short walk to the beach for your invigorating yoga session.
No matter what your experience level is, this yoga session is sure to ground and inspire you. Get your toes in the sand, stretch and flow as the Pier and ocean serve as your backdrop to your morning beach yoga flow. You can either book a private session, or join in one of the many community donation-based groups that operate throughout the week. Please remember to wear a mask and bring your own mat for community classes!
Grab a Healthy Lunch at Session’s West Coast Deli
After your refreshing yoga session, grab a quick and healthy bite to eat at Session’s West Coast Deli. Right across from the Huntington Beach Pier, Session’s serves plenty of healthy sandwiches, wraps, burgers and salads, all with yummy homemade sauces and dressings.
Spa Treatment at Pacific Waters Spa
Time to treat yourself with a pampering, relaxing outdoor spa treatment at Pacific Waters Spa. Escape the busy life in their Spa Courtyard, which offers a unique hideaway with its outdoor patios and lush landscape. Offering multiple private outdoor treatment spaces, you’ll drift away in your own exclusive getaway.
Beach Bonfire & S’mores
To cap off a day of zen, it’s time to kickback by the fire- on the beach! Enjoy the sunset with a warm bonfire and delicious s’mores, the “All American” treat that is a combination of toasted marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. Beach butler services can set everything up for you a lá Waterfront Adventures, or bring your own firewood and skewers to DIY. Bonfire rings are available on a first come, first serve basis unless booked through one of the beach butler services. Packages include beach chairs, blankets, hot chocolate and of course, all the fixin’s for the s’mores. Local Tip: To make the s’mores even more delicious, add in candy like Kit Kats or Reece’s.
Day 3- Kick it Up a Notch
Breakfast at Sugar Shack Café
Start the day off right with a traditional American breakfast at Sugar Shack Café. Serving all the traditional American favorites, such as pancakes, omelets, bacon & eggs, the Sugar Shack Café is one of Huntington Beach’s favorite restaurants. Known among locals as an authentic “surfer hang-out,” it’s a go-to for fuel for the day.
Explore Huntington Harbour by Kayak or SUP
Away from bustling downtown, Huntington Harbour provides a quaint seaside feel and picturesque scenery. Built in the 1960s, the harbour is home to five man-made islands which feature more than 500 bayfront homes of all shapes and sizes. It is the perfect place to start the day and get some fresh air. Get your body moving by renting a stand-up paddle board or kayak from OEX Sunset Beach.
Explore Huntington Beach by Pedego E-Bike
Get out there and see what Huntington Beach is all about by taking a Pedego Electric Bike out for a spin!
