March 19 marked the official start of spring in Huntington Beach, and the wildflowers here are making it loud and clear. This time of the year, wildflowers carpet Huntington Beach's landscapes from Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve to Huntington Central Park, creating stunning and colorful views. According to the California Department of Parks and Recreation forecast, the wildflower season will last from March 1 through mid-May.
