Please note service for 2021 has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience. In lieu of the Surf City USA Shuttle, take Circuit, Downtown Huntington Beach's newest free transportation option. It last through June 30, 2022.

Special Event Shuttle Service
Surf City USA Shuttle special event service and pickup locations are available for the annual Huntington Beach Fourth of July Celebration, US Open of Surfing, and the Great Pacific Airshow.
Great Pacific Airshow - October 5-6, 2019 | 10 AM - 6 PM

Complimentary park and ride shuttle service will be available on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, from 10 am - 5:45 pm.
Free Parking:
- Goldenwest Transportation Center (7301 Center Ave)
- Huntington Beach Civic Center (2000 Main Street)

Event Drop Off:
- Show center at Pacific Coast Highway, OCTA Zone 3 (across from Pacific City)

Complimentary shuttles will run every half hour. Last shuttle departs show center at 5:45 pm.
No wagons, bicycles, or large coolers allowed on board. All hand-carried items must fit on your lap or on the floor in front of your seat. Aisles must remain clear for safety purposes. Please note, glass and alcohol are prohibited on the beach.
Regular weekend service will NOT be running during the Great Pacific Airshow. Also, please note there will be no shuttle service on Friday, October 4.

I want to ride the shuttle! Where can I park?
The best place to park free is at the Golden West Transportation Center, located on Gothard and Center Ave, and catch the City Loop shuttle at the Bella Terra stop. Another option is at Peter's Landing, on the south end of the parking lot in the public beach parking section, south of Starbucks. From there, catch the Coastal Loop shuttle in front of Pelican Isle restaurant. Please do not leave your car parked on private property to ride the shuttle. Parking on private property, such as at a shopping center, is at your own risk and subject to towing.
Is there a cost to ride the shuttle?
The shuttle is free to both visitors and residents! Funding has been provided by an OCTA grant, Visit Huntington Beach, and the City of Huntington Beach. As long a we maintain good ridership, the shuttle will remain free to all. Encourage your family, friends, and co-workers to ride the shuttle so the program will continue to grow!
Can I bring my bike on the shuttle?
Bikes are allowed, first-come first-serve, on an outside rack on the City Loop shuttle. Bikes are not allowed on the Coastal Loop shuttle.
What can I bring on the shuttle?
Closed food and beverage containers, service animals, and skateboards are allowed on the shuttle.
Smoking and open food and beverage containers, pets, bicycles, surfboards, body boards, beach chairs, large coolers, and any other items that may block the aisles are not allowed on board. All seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserving seats is not allowed. Shirts and shoes are required.
Do the shuttles have wheelchair access?
The Surf City USA Shuttle is a wheelchair accessible vehicle and can accommodate up to 1 wheelchair each.
What is the capacity of each shuttle?
The shuttle can hold up to 20 riders at a time. All seats are available on a first-come first-serve basis and cannot be reserved or held for any reason.
