Experience California's perfect 10. Run along PCH and take in sandy beaches, palm tree-studded hills, wave-surfing dolphins, and more. Participants have the option to run 10 miles, a 10K, or a 5K. Whatever your distance, your registration includes the following:

Surf City Marathon

The annual marathon will feature a beach mile, 5K, half marathon, and marathon. The oceanfront course takes you through the best of Huntington Beach, from Pacific Coast Highway to Central Park. The mostly flat course is perfect for new marathoners and is even used by some as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
Beach Mile - Saturday, February 3
Start Time: 11 a.m.
Start/Finish Location: On the soft sand near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway & Huntington Street
Time Limit: 1 hour
5K - Sunday, February 4
Start Time: 7 a.m.
Start/Finish Location: Intersection of Pacific Coast Highway & Huntington Street
Time Limit: 2 hours
Half Marathon - Sunday, February 4
Start Time: 7:45 a.m.
Start/Finish Location: Intersection of Pacific Coast Highway & Huntington Street
Time Limit: 4.5 hours, course is open for those keeping a 13:43 minute/mile pace - finish line will remain open until 1:30 p.m.
Half Marathon Wave Start: The half marathon will use a wave start with runner groups of approximately 1,000 going off at 2-3 minute intervals. The wave start will allow plenty of space on the course and at aid stations and finish line. All waves are self-seeded. Keep an eye out for the pace-per-mile signs along the start chute to place yourself accordingly. Your chip time will not begin recording until you cross the start line.
Marathon - Sunday, February 4
Start Time: 6:30 a.m.
Start/Finish Location: Intersection of Pacific Coast Highway & Huntington Street
Time Limit: 6 hours, course is open for those keeping a 13:43 minute/mile pace - finish line will remain open until 1:30 p.m.
