This year’s Tourism Summit theme is “State of Play,” a nod to the major events coming to Southern California in the coming years that will shine a spotlight on Orange County including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl LX, and the LA 2028 Olympics. This is a pivotal moment for tourism in the area that will provide opportunities unlike ever before. 

VHB is excited to share that Caroline Beteta, Visit California’s president & CEO, is this year’s keynote speaker and will be sharing updates about the state of travel and tourism in California. Additionally, Karch Kiraly, the U.S. Men's National Volleyball Team’s Head Coach, will share about his experience in the sports industry, Cindy Decker, Tourism Economics’ Senior Manager, Client Relations & Insights, will provide an economic forecast, and Tommy Martinez, Tripadvisor’s Senior Client Partner, Destinations, will speak about Gen Z and millennial travel trends.
