Huntington Beach's disc golf course was one of the first created in the country and is considered among the most beautiful and challenging courses in Southern California. Played like golf, but with Frisbees, disc golf's popularity has been steadily increasing over the past 40 years.
A full-time pro shop rents and sells discs and gives lessons. Located along Goldenwest Street between Talbert Avenue and Ellis Avenue, the Huntington Beach disc golf course is the only course in Orange County. The cost to play is $2 on weekends and $1 on weekdays. An amateur league is open to the public and plays on Wednesday evenings. For more information, call 714-425-9931.
