Growers from around Southern California bring the bounty of the land to Surf City USA at farmers markets throughout the city. Strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, and citrus from the region's fabled groves, plus all sorts of other seasonal delicacies, can be found at Huntington Beach's neighborhood farmers markets.
The Surf City Nights Certified Farmers Market takes place Tuesday evenings in downtown Huntington Beach. In addition to the block-long farmers market, you'll find live entertainment that causes spontaneous dancing in the street, numerous vendors selling handmade crafts, and local businesses selling gourmet salts, olive oils, vinegars and more. A kids fun zone, food court and special holiday-themed activities round out the evening experiences.
On Friday afternoons, rain or shine, you'll find the Certified Farmers Market run by the Orange County Farm Bureau on the north side of the Huntington Beach Pier. Fresh produce, baked goods, organic meats and seafood, and specialty food products abound at this weekly market.
The Peter's Landing Farmer's Market and Family Festival, held Saturday mornings in Huntington Harbour, allows customers to travel by car and boat to this family-friendly event. The waterfront farmers market features seasonal fresh produce, crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, and live entertainment, in addition to art exhibits from The Anderson Art Gallery and Art By Dano and Joe Fish.
Also on Saturday mornings, The Village at Old World holds its Farmer's Market rain or shine each week from 9 am - 2 pm. Located in North Huntington Beach, the market provides access to locally grown produce, meat, milk, eggs, cheese, oysters, honey, olive oils, artisan breads and baked goods, organic and health related products, and local arts and crafts vendors.
