Introduction to Yoga Courses are available for students new to yoga. These classes are specifically designed to present a step-by-step introduction to the fundamental yoga postures and breathing techniques. The introductory courses emphasize personal instruction and provide each student with the solid foundation needed to develop a safe and beneficial yoga practice. Although not a requirement, this course is highly recommended for all yoga students. It provides a basic understanding of correct breathing and alignment of the body which to bring greater benefit and joy from the practice of yoga. The once-a-month Introduction to Yoga Course is a specialty course that is not part of regularly scheduled classes, thus pre-registration is required as space is limited. After completion of the course, students receive 15% off any series of 10 or more classes and anything they purchase in the store the day of the Intro Class only. Call for details.
