Our thoughts continue to be with those affected by the wild fires in LA and Pasadena, approximately 50 miles north of Huntington Beach. We are thankful for the heroic efforts of first responders—many of whom have traveled from across the country and around the world – and stand ready to assist our neighbors up north.

Huntington Beach, located approximately 50 miles from the affected areas, remains unaffected by the wildfires. The air quality and conditions here are safe, and our city continues to welcome visitors. 

Local businesses, hotels, restaurants, and our beaches are open and operating as usual.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) and Long Beach Airport (LGB) continue to operate without interruption, remaining fully open and functional.

Our thoughts remain with those in need, and we encourage those who are able to support relief efforts for the impacted areas.

Visit Huntington Beach has made a $10,000 donation to the Destinations International Foundation LA Wildfire Recovery Fund. The Foundation will be directly working with LA Tourism to identify where the funds should be directed for maximum impact. We continue to stand ready to assist our neighbors during the recovery process.
