The Annual Huntington Beach 4th of July Celebration will take place from July 2-4, 2021! Schedule of events:
Saturday, June 12 – Monday, June 28:Decorating Contest Decorate your home or business and be eligible to win one of 5 coveted "surfboard" awards and for the top storefront, a cash prize! Homeowners and businesses must register online at HB4thOfJuly.org/Contest. Voting will be open from 9am on June 28th through Midnight on July 2nd. Prizes will be delivered to winners on July 3rd.
Friday, July 2 – Sunday, July 4: Pier Plaza Festival The 4th of July Pier Plaza Festival will feature vendor booths, food trucks, live entertainment & DJ's, prize giveaways, carnival rides, and a beer & wine garden. Festival will be open from 10am to 9pm, and 930pm on Sunday.
Sunday, July 4: Neighborhood Parade The 2021 Neighborhood Parade will be expanded this year to reach even more neighborhoods! In doing so, the City of Huntington Beach will maintain its 117-year historical record of the 4th of July parade. This year's parade theme will be Surf City Dreamin'. Register your vehicle and view the parade route online at HB4thOfJuly.org/Parade.
Sunday, July 4: Surf City Run This year's Surf City Run 5K will take place on a pre-designated course on Goldenwest and through Huntington Central Park. A virtual version is also available. Register online at HB4thOfJuly.org/Surf-City-Run and pickup your bib the day before the event.
Sunday, July 4: Fireworks Watch as fireworks light up the sky over the Pier at 9pm. VIP tickets available at HB4thOfJuly.org/Fireworks.
