The National Scholastic Surfing Association brings its National Championships back to the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier. Garnering the highest attendance among all annual youth surfing championships in the nation, the event draws over 900 participants in the various categories.

The National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage and assist its members in their interest to learn and develop the fundamentals and skills of surfing competition while competing in structured and quality events.
