Visiting Huntington Beach Safely 

Huntington Beach is dedicated to the safety and health of visitors traveling to the City 

Huntington Beach is welcoming a safe return to travel which includes social distancing, hand washing, face covering and other preventive measures. In Huntington Beach, beaches are open, pier is open, beach bonfire pits are open, beach parking is open, the Huntington Harbour is open, Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is open, outdoor dining is open, retail stores are open, and hotels are open. Salons, museums, gyms and fitness facilities, bars and movie theaters remain closed until further notice. Huntington Beach is doing everything it can to be clean and safe so you can stay healthy and enjoy beautiful Surf City USA. Huntington City Beach 

OPEN

City beaches are open for passive recreation, including sunbathing, picnicking, and lounging on the sand with family from 5 AM - 10 PM.

Please remember, social distancing is still a must to protect yourself and others, and face coverings are still recommended. 

Beach parking lots are open to full capacity. 

Fire rings are open. 

Waterfront RV Park

Waterfront RV Park reservations are available at www.waterfrontrvpark.com

Huntington State Beach 

OPEN

Parking lots are open to full capacity and are open from 6 AM to 10 PM.

Limited bathroom facilities are available.

Open for active use: Keep walking, jogging, hiking and biking. Watch for one-way trails.

Fire rings are open. 

Sunset Vista RV Park

CLOSED

Sunset Vista campgrounds will open as usual on October 1, 2020. Reservations for October can be made starting on July 1st at 8 AM. 

Huntington Dog Beach 

OPEN

City beaches are open for passive recreation, including sunbathing, picnicking, and lounging on the sand with family from 5 AM - 10 PM.

Beach parking lots are open to full capacity.

Bolsa Chica State Beach 

OPEN

Parking lots are open to full capacity and are open from 6 AM to 10 PM.

Campgrounds are open at limited capacity to maintain social distancing and avoid large group gatherings. For more information about camping, visit www.parks.ca.gov/COVID19Camping or call 800-444-7275.

Sunset Beach

Huntington Beach Restaurants

OPEN

Restaurants offering outdoor patio dining are open. Indoor dining operations remain closed in Huntington Beach. 

Bars, brewpubs, breweries, and pub operations remain closed both indoor and outdoor statewide, unless they are offering sit-down, outdoor dine-in meals. Alcohol can only be sold in the same transaction as a meal.
