Tick Tock. In just two weeks we will be enjoying the 17th Annual Taste of Huntington Beach. This event showcases over 50 of the best of Huntington Beach’s culinary talents and the region’s top wineries and breweries.

For one all-inclusive price, guests will be enjoying unlimited tasty bites and beverages from some of the area’s finest establishments. There will be a bevy of silent auction items, a raffle, Live Entertainment by Ramsey Brothers Band and the celebrity guest judge will once again be Simon Majumdar from Cutthroat Kitchen.  Awards will be given out for “best of” in numerous categories.  Some exhibitors have interactive displays and many offer free giveaways. It's also a great place to meet friends and to people watch! The proceeds from the event will go to the Children’s Department of the Huntington Beach Public Library, a local non-profit charity.

Mark your calendars, as the event will be held Sunday, April 30 at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex (Goldenwest Street and Talbert Avenue).  The festivities will begin at 12:00 p.m. for the general public and run until 4:00pm. There is also an exclusive VIP Reception will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

General admission tickets are $70. This includes four hours of: unlimited tastes of food from more than 50 restaurants, sips of wine from California and boutique wineries, samples of beer from premier and craft breweries and live entertainment.

Well worth the additional $20 are the VIP tickets, which are $90. This includes all of the above general admission perks, plus: an exclusive VIP reception, including food and drink available only to VIP’s from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a 30-minute early entry into the main Taste tent (at 11:30 a.m.), a VIP tote bag, a VIP party plate, free valet parking plus other special VIP perks and a commemorative 2017 glass wine glass (available when leaving The Taste event).

Parking

Guests can find free parking in the Sports Complex and the Library parking lots. Valet parking will also be available for $5 the day of the event for general admission guests. Valet Parking is free for VIP ticket holders. (Note: The setting is on a grassy field so wear comfortable shoes. Seating at tables outdoors is limited but you’re welcome to bring blankets and stadium chairs. Backpacks and purses are all subject to being searched.)
