Ride the free Surf City USA Shuttle! This summer, we’re making easy to spend the day in Huntington Beach. This free shuttle runs from May 26 to Sept. 3 on Saturdays, Sundays, holiday Mondays and special events.

Your options are endless: jump on the City Loop to stop at 10 destinations throughout the city, or try the Coastal Loop for a trip from Downtown Huntington Beach to Bella Terra, and some of the best spots in between — there are two shuttles on this loop!

City Loop Parking

Shuttle riders park free at the Goldenwest Transportation Center (Stop 5). Be sure to check out our official parking guide for all of the public parking areas near your shuttle stop. Please be aware of any parking rules (i.e. street cleaning signs, permits required, no parking zones).

 

Coastal Loop

Two Coastal Loop shuttles run in clockwise and counterclockwise directions for faster service.

    Located on Warner and Pacific Coast Highway, in the turnaround in front of Jack In the Box

    Located on Center Avenue, at the OCTA bus stop across from Century Theaters
  4. 5 Points Plaza
    Clockwise: Located on Beach Blvd (southbound) after Main Street
    Counterclockwise: Located on Beach Blvd (northbound) after Main Street
  5. Pacific City
    Located behind Lot 579

Park in a public parking area and hop on at one of the five Coastal Loop stops.

  • OCTA Goldenwest Transportation Center (7301 Center Avenue) – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Huntington Beach Civic Center (2000 Main Street) – 1 pm to 12 a.m.

Complimentary shuttles will run every half hour. Last shuttle leaves downtown at 11:30 p.m.

US Open of Surfing – July 28-29 and August 4-5 

Shuttle service to Main & Orange Streets:

  • Huntington Beach High School (1905 Main Street, enter off Utica Avenue) – 10 a.m. to 10 p.m
  • Edison High School (21400 Magnolia Street) – 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Complimentary shuttles will run every half hour. Last shuttle leaves downtown at 9:30 p.m.

Additional parking here - ONLY on August 4-5:

  • Huntington Beach Civic Center (2000 Main Street) – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Complimentary shuttles will run every half hour. Last shuttle leaves downtown at 6:30 p.m.

Regular weekend shuttle service will also be run during the US Open of Surfing. Live GPS tracking will be available for all service shuttles.
