HALLOWEEN FUN IN HUNTINGTON BEACH
October 31 | 4pm-8pm | Downtown Huntington Beach
This family-friendly event features a petting zoo, bounce house, and plenty of entertainment. Younger children can trick-or-treat down Main Street while the more daring make their way through the haunted house at the Strand. The kids costume contest begins at 5pm and includes categories such as most creative, cutest, and scariest. Even dogs can participate in the festivities with the canine howl-o-ween costume contest at 6:30pm!
October 29 | 5pm-8pm | Downtown Huntington Beach
This weekly street fair and farmer's market is getting a Halloween twist! Compete in the pumpkin decorating contest or go bobbing for apples. With 90 unique vendors, street performers, live music, and festive activities, there is something for everyone.
October 31 | 4pm-7pm | Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach
The Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach is throwing a Halloween party for the kids! There will be trick or treating throughout the hotel, cookie decoration, and other arts and crafts. Haunted cabanas and spooky slides are also open for the more daring. End the night with a dive in movie at Slyders. Guests are asked to RSVP to email@example.com at $20 per child.
HALLOWEEN CELEBRATIONS IN ORANGE COUNTY
September 27-28 & October 3-6, 10-13, 17-20, 24-27, 30 & 31 | Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park
The largest Halloween theme park event is back at Knott's Berry Farm. You're in for a night of terror as all 160 acres transform with horrifying live shows, scare zones, and hundreds of wandering monsters. New mazes such as "Black Magic" and "The Gunslinger's Grave" will surely keep your heart pounding. While teens and adults scream their way through thrill rides and horrific attractions at Knott's Scary Farm, the younger kids are invited to Snoopy's Costume Party. This daytime celebration takes place every weekend at Camp Spooky with shows, games, and trick or treating.
September 13-October 31 | Disneyland Resort, Anaheim
Disneyland is dressed up for Halloween with pumpkins and special seasonal activities throughout the park. Even the rides get spookier at Halloween Time as the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain become occupied with ghosts. Don't miss this family fun and festive time at Disneyland.
Mickey's Halloween Party is on specific evenings and requires a special advance ticket purchase, beginning at $59. Guests are allowed access to the park 3 hours before the party begins and receive free parking. Trick or treating, costume parties with some festively-dressed characters, and a "Halloween Screams" firework show make for a festive night at Disneyland.
October 26 | 9am-3pm | Orange County Great Park, Irvine
This annual family fall event has train rides, corn mazes, carnival games, and a petting zoo. Children 12 and under can choose their own pumpkin from the Great Park pumpkin patch and watch pumpkin carving demos, all for free! A puppet show and scavenger hunt are also planned for this fun-filled day.

Tanaka Farms is not only one of the best placed to find a pumpkin in Orange County but also the cheapest. Admission and parking are both free! The farm features wagon rides ($5 per person, children under 2 are free), a corn maze, and even a petting zoo. Go on a weekday afternoon to avoid the crowds or enjoy the game and craft booths on the weekend. Make sure to get a picture with the Tanaka's Pile of Pumpkins before picking out your very own pumpkin right off the vine.

Food Truck Fare is getting transformed into a Halloween Foodtacular with a variety of gourmet food trucks and cash bar with adult "spirits". The kids can enjoy "truck or treating" and ghoulish tunes all for free.
October 5-31 | 10am-5pm | Discovery Science Center, Santa Ana
Creepy crawlers, pumpkins, and friendly spooks are all making their way to Discovery Science Center for Spooky Science this October. Explore pumpkins of all sizes, shapes and colors and investigate the seeds inside them. Make your own slime, explore a spooky 3-D maze, check out spiders of all sizes and colors, and much more! Even the youngest of goblins will enjoy spooky fun while learning about shapes as they create their own jack-o-lanterns out of felt.
JUST BEYOND THE OC

Queen Mary's Dark Harbor returns for 17 terrifying nights with a sinister new circus themed maze, horrifying freak shows and more. Experience thrills and chills in six mazes so daunting you'll sell your soul for a chance to survive. This year, the Captain celebrates Dark Harbor by raising a circus of horrific spirits, malevolent circus entertainers and other unfortunates. Live music, DJ's, costume contest, drag shows, burlesque shoes and other entertainment is also available. Tickets start at just $20.
Saturday Nights in October | 5pm-9pm | Legoland, Carlsbad
Trick-or-Treat through the park trails or build a giant Lego vampire. Make sure you're dressed up for the costume contest and enter in the Kingdom, Lego, or Creative category. Have a dance party with The Witchettes or other entertainers and enjoy the entire Legoland Park. Each night ends with a festive fireworks show.
