Huntington Beach prides itself on being a host of unique activities for every member of the family. From getting in on the action and having the classic Huntington Beach surfing experience to taking a break from the sun to play a few arcade games, Surf City USA welcomes vacationers young and old.

Surfing Lessons

What better way to celebrate being in Surf City USA than by learning to surf? Numerous surf schools offer private and group lessons—all equipment included—for novice surfers of all ages at three of our five beaches. Expert instructors are well-versed in water safety and ocean life to provide the best possible learning experience for your family.

See the complete surf lessons guide here.

Biking

Views to the west include the shimmering ocean waves and Catalina silhouette, while the famous Pacific Coast Highway sits just to the east. You'll run into plenty of spots to stop and grab a bite to eat, take photos, and use the bathroom along the way.

Rent or buy bicycles, tandem bikes, electric bikes, surreys, and more from any number of beach concessionaires along the bike path. You can even conveniently rent from one of the oceanfront resorts. Check out all of your renting and buying options here
