International Surfing Day

June 20, 2015

This year marks the 11th annual International Surfing Day (ISD), the day when the globe celebrates all things surf while giving back to our precious oceans. Surf lessons, barbecues, and beach clean-ups - or how about record breaking surf attempts?

In honor of International Surfing Day, June 20 is the perfect day to break two surfing related GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ for 'Most people riding a surfboard' while on the world's 'Largest Surfboard.' This epic day will send Surf City USA into the next 100 years of surf culture in Huntington Beach, California.

If you're lucky enough to catch the record-breaking attempt in person, don't miss out on Surfrider Foundation's ISD celebration, taking place on the beach just north of the Huntington Beach Pier.
