Orange County Beaches: On the Sand
Not
everybody that comes to Huntington Beach is stoked about the waves.
While going toes-on-the-nose on your favorite board is euphoric for
some, just staying on the sand is a pretty worthy cause too. There are
plenty of things to do in the beach while keeping dry in Orange County.
Bring your beach towel and tanning lotion for a day soaking up the sun at one of the beautiful Orange County beaches in the area. Spike up some sand in a game of beach volleyball. Take a leisurely bike tour on the Pacific Coast Highway. Bring your pooch to Dog Beach and “dog-tired” won’t even begin to describe your pup after a day of beach frolicking.
Build a beach bonfire in the fire rings along the Huntington City, State and Bolsa Chica beaches and have a barbecue or roast marshmallows with friends or family.
You can’t be expected to build a good sandcastle until you’ve had the proper training from the professionals. Digg It! Sandcastles can show you how to make that archway and drawbridge to your sand mansion a reality.
