Getting To & Around Huntington Beach

Airplane: Huntington Beach is only 12 miles from John Wayne/Orange County Airport (SNA), 18 miles from the Long Beach Airport (LGB), 38 miles from Los Angeles International (LAX) and 48 miles from the Ontario International Airport (ONT). From John Wayne/Orange County Airport, you can take an Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus, private shuttle or taxi to Huntington Beach.

Automobile: You can reach Huntington Beach from the north, south or east. Pacific Coast Highway (PCH/California Highway 1), the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405) and Interstate 5 offer access to the city.

Boat: Within Huntington Harbour there are two private, full-service marinas offering guest slips and other services for visiting recreational boaters: Peter's Landing Marina (714-840-1387), www.peterslandingmarina.com; and Sunset Aquatic Marina (562-592-2833). A multi-lane launch ramp is available at Sunset Aquatic Marina, including 24-hour tow vehicle and trailer parking.
