The Pier Plaza

Your tour along the Pacific Coast Highway is not complete without a visit to the Pier Plaza in Huntington Beach. Sitting pier-side and ocean front, the Pier Plaza is a beautiful outdoor amphitheatre that not only hosts beachside concerts and events, but also serves as a city hub for art and culture.

The plaza itself features striking craftsmanship with beautiful stone steps cut into the hillside between the Pacific Coast Highway and the sand. The design is reminiscent of roman architecture, and an artistic and colorful mural depicting historical events of Huntington Beach stands nearby.

The plaza hosts Huntington Beach’s weekly farmer’s market and art-a-faire, and it seats hundreds during concerts and events.

Its grassy knoll is also a comfortable place to sit and relax any time you need a break from walking the pier, Main Street, the beach or the Ocean Strand.
