About the Huntington Beach Marketing and Visitors Bureau
The Huntington Beach Marketing and Visitors Bureau (HBMVB, formerly the Huntington Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau) is the official destination marketing organization of Huntington Beach, California. The Bureau operates as a private non-profit 501(c)(6) corporation under contract to the City of Huntington Beach to promote the city as the premier overnight beach destination in Orange County and Southern California.
The mission of the Bureau is to position Surf City USA® as the preferred premier overnight beach destination in Orange County and Southern California. The Bureau’s goals are designed to enhance the economy of the city of Huntington Beach through sustained growth in tourism spending, resulting in significant increases in economic impact in the areas of earnings, tax collections and jobs.
Our Visitor Center at 301 Main Street, Ste. 208, offers personal assistance and a complete collection of literature about the Huntington Beach area, including magazines, maps and guides for Orange County and all of Southern California. The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific Standard Time.

- Support toll-free 24-hour recorded information at 1-800-729-6232 (1-800-SAY-OCEAN)
- Provide Conference Services for Meeting Planners
- Assist Group Tour and Event Planners
- Develop various advertising and public relations programs and numerous other promotional projects.
