Interested in retro surf history? Then this is the event for you with woodies, convertibles, and station wagons on display during this two-day event in March. The Annual Wavecrest Beach Cruiser Meet gives visitors a glimpse into 1970s era Surf City USA®. Enjoy a longboard exhibit, a bandstand, vendors along Main Street and, for the first time ever, woodies (the official car of Surf City USA®!) will be displayed directly on the Huntington Beach Pier the second day of the event.

Amateur volleyball brings its own style of excitement back to Huntington Beach when Surf City USA® hosts the AVP Huntington Beach Open in May. Just south of the Pier, some 150 of the world’s best amateur players go head-to-head for a thrilling weekend of competition and fun. Fans cheer for their favorite competitors while soaking in the festive beach party atmosphere at various exhibits and food samplings.
