It's time to find a beach volleyball game among the 20 courts that cluster around the north and south side of the Huntington Beach Pier! Ten more courts grouped by two are between the pier and Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa.

Bicycling

Huntington Beach is your bicycling destination if you enjoy scenic paths that are both safe and beautiful. An 8.5-mile paved path spans the entire length of the Surf City USA® beach areas. The path runs parallel to Pacific Coast Highway between Warner Avenue to Sunset Beach all the way to the Santa Ana River bordering Newport Beach, with a clear view of the Pacific Ocean the entire length.

Huntington Beach has more than 600 large concrete fire rings to manage blazes safely and efficiently in the fabled Surf City USA® sands. Whether you want a beach barbecue, s'mores or intimate bowl of embers in the cool night air, fires are permitted in the rings without restriction.

Boogie Boarding

Boogie boarding can allow almost anyone to enjoy riding the Surf City USA® waves in Huntington Beach. Although boogie boards have found their way into world competition since being created by Tom Morey in 1971, they are perfect for novice thrill seekers who want great water adventure but don't have the time or inclination to learn how to ride a surfboard.
